Gnocchi should be like soft pillows. It’s all about the kneading and forking. Yes I said forking.  Shaping gnocchi with a fork is essential to make your soft pillows complete.

Working out isn’t all about the deadlift, squat, bench press. There are other training methods that build strength and an awesome body

Smoothies are easy, nutritious, and creative.  Get a Magic Bullet because you can take it everywhere with you.

Why eat medium beef or well done.  The cow just died for nothing! I like my steak still moo-ing.

You have to eat more vegetables. Even if you hate them like I do.

Turn the TV off and read books that involve improving your career, lifestyle, business, and health.  Start adding more to your library.

The Food Network and the Cooking Channel are great channels to get into.  Women love nothing more than a man that knows how to cook.  Plus Giada is HOT!

Along with learning how to cook.  Visit the weekly Farmer’s Market to stock up on some locally grown produce.

Take part of more experiences. Get off your couch, turn off the games, and call up some friends.  On a budget? You can still head out to the bars for a beer or two.  It doesn’t matter.  Surround yourself with good people.  Create more experiences.

My love for beer has grown exponentially. Especially enjoying a few local breweries.

Set out to achieve a goal. Do a marathon, powerlifting competition, triathlon, learn to play an instrument.  I decided to do a natural bodybuilding competition in April for the INBF Buckeye Classic in Columbus, OH.

Make exercising a new hobby. You will feel more energized, positive, and accomplished  throughout your daily activities.

Do what makes you happy. If you are doing something that doesn’t make you happy, then why do it? Make a list of what makes you happy and are passionate about and go from there.

If you’ve found the person you love and want to spend the rest of your life with? Then do something about it! It took me 8 years with my girlfriend (and no, there was no ultimatum, although it might have been getting close).

  1. Wow thanks for the incentives Daniel :) Straight to the point nudges help me get back on track when I’m feeling a little lazy. I try to tell myself that I’m getting old and slowing down but the fact is …I try to go back to old bad habits and I get lazy about the good new habits I’ve been working hard to establish :( Your an inspiration…and hey, Congradulations :) ) Blessings to you and yours.

  2. Thanks Kris! And anytime you need another “motivational” speech, just let me know. Hope you are having a great holiday season with your family and friends!
