First before I got into my top 5 gadgets. Get a gym bag first if you don’t have one. There are so many options out there for a gym bag. I have to support my oldest brother, so I use one of the bags they design at the company he works at – Incase. I would highly recommend one of the Messenger bags. Valslides can make basic movements a little more challenging, such as push-ups and lunges. They are great for working the core stability as well.
2. Foam Roller
3. Resistance Bands
I’m a big fan of using resistance bands. They are great for pre-hab exercises such as band pull-aparts. You can also add them to resistance exercises for accommodating resistance (let me know if you don’t know what that is, that can be a whole article by itself). I would recommend the 1/2″ and the 1″. The other two are pretty intense.
4. Fat Gripz
These babies brings in the “cool” factor. They attach to any standard barbell, dumbbell, and cable attachment. If your goal is to have bigger arms. Get this and you will see why these made my list. Not only will they give you bigger arms, but they definitely challenge your grip.
Some may think these are unnecessary. I think they come in handy especially when it comes to pushing heavy weight. Elitefts makes awesome wrist wraps, and I like the color scheme.
